This area is very popular with bird watchers, hikers, fishing and boating.
During the month of November until Christmas at Horsey Gap some of the beach is sealed of as Grey seals come ashore to have their pups. You are allowed to view them from the dunes which are about 10 feet from the seals. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
At Great Yarmouth which is 10 miles away there is horse racing and at the Stadium there is Stock Car racing and Greyhound racing. For Greyhound racing you can book into the restaurant and have a 2 course meal for around £15 a head which includes your entrance fee, a very enjoyable evening out.
